Chynna's birthday party and jack-o-lanterns

Saturday, we had Chynna's princess party. She got dress ups from Shaine and I and she wore some of them to her party. We played ghost, ghost, goblin (aka duck, duck, goose), musical chairs and pin the nose on the witch.

Last week we carved our pumpkins. One is a bat cave and the other a cat in a moon. They are starting to get soft and yucky. We should have waited a few more days.

Cute hair!

I told Corryn that I wished that I had hair as nice as hers, and she said why don't I just go buy the wig that they make out of her hair.

Corryn's haircut

Corryn decided to cut 10 inches off her long, lovely hair and donate it to locks of love for cancer kids. I cut the hair, but then Natalie Marshall shaped it into the cutest A-line! Corryn really likes it. By the way, Shaine's eyes are getting a little better each day, but his vision is still fuzzy and obstructed. Evidently this is normal for the PRK eye surgery.

Chynna

This is Chynna. She is 3, almost 4, and the baby of the family for about 6 more months.

Corryn

This is Corryn. She is six and in the first grade.

Here is how our kids are growing!

Below is a photo of Connor (9) and in 4th grade. To the right is Ian (9) also in his grandma Marshall's 4th grade class. Above is Corryn (6) and in 1st grade, and at the top Chynna (3), our pre-schooler.

We have a blog!

Hey friends and family, We decided to join all of you bloggers by getting our own. It seems like a better idea than always emailing pictures, don't you think, so here we go. Shaine had laser eye surgery yesterday in St. George and is doing very well. He can actually see very good, although his eyes are irritated because he had to have the PRK and it is harder to recover from. I am making him stay home from work today; he wants to go. At the same time Shaine was getting surgery, I was coaching the Panguitch girls cross country team at the state competition at Sugarhouse Park in SLC. We ended up fourth. I felt really good about the girls efforts.

The kids are all doing well. Chynna turns four this month on Halloween. She has put much thought into her party for the last 3 months or so. I hope we don't dissappoint!

I am now in my second trimester of pregnancy and finally feeling better. Not perfect, but better! Love, Anne
